VM & DISPLAY 2025

WHAT A VM SHOW!

Over the 9th and 10th of April, we had the absolute pleasure of being able to exhibit at the Visual Merchandising & Display Show 2025. Oh! And what a show it was!

Throughout the next few weeks we will provide you with a round-up of the show, our participation in it and most importantly, reporting on our engagement with you.

Our stand was pride of place right by the main entrance to the show, and we made the most of it by showing off our skills with cardboard. Every element of that stand (electricals aside) was made to be broken down and to be fully recyclable. The amount of waste generated through exhibitions can be astronomical as they are often seen as one-hit wonders. We just had to do our bit to ensure that we were not adding to it.

With that in mind, Matt Cox (our Lead Creative) came up with a design that not only would make jaws drop but, that was also eco-friendly and allowed us to manage the entire set-up ourselves.

And the Jaws they did indeed drop!

A wonderful walkthrough our amazing stand taking pride of place right at the front of the exhibition

Even the back of our stand had something to see! An amazing jungle scene perfectly artworked in-house

For the entire 2 days we stacked out one of our standard Faster Displays (no additional supports) with house bricks. No cracks, warps or any indication of damage over the full 2 days in situ… Are your FSDUs as sturdy as ours?

Jungle/Aztec-themed – 2 x 10ft tall Faster Displays connected by a 10ft wide “stone” arch, 90 inch TV set into a “Stone/Jungle/Aztec” Background, Games area, Giveaways, and even a place to sit and chat with one of our team. There really was something for everyone. Not forgetting or enigmatic leader Paul Manson, keeping visitors and colleagues alike, entertained and educated throughout the show.

Oh, and let’s not forget our NEW Tactile team smashed it, too! Our raised logos on the arches, the wood effect table top, and the raised lettering on the Tactile back wall panel. None of that would have been possible without them.

What is Tactile? Well, we will be covering this in greater detail in the next few weeks with posts and articles dedicated to this new and exciting branch of P&D (you can also click on the “Tactile” menu option in the menu bar above).

So, there’s the brief summary of our time at the Visual Merchandising & Display Show 2025 – We’ll be posting more “item-specific” pieces as time goes on.

We’d just like to end this by saying a huge thank you! Thank you to the Visual Merchandising & Display show for having us. Thank you to our wonderfully dedicated internal team, who designed, printed, cut, installed, broke down, and then recycled our stand. Thank you to everyone who attended our stand and interacted with the team. And finally, thank you to…. Well, you! For making it to the end of this post!
